Inspired by the playful nature of the brand’s identity, the logo itself references continuous cycles and experimentation of loose forms. Re- a prefix, used with the meaning “again” to indicate repetition and nu alludes to “new”. These themes extend to power a diverse color palette within the space that is both playful and sophisticated with fabric textures used loosely evoking free expression.

Nuuly offers a curated selection of women’s clothing to rent, buy, donate, and renew. Over time, changing trends, styles, and choices shape what we wear. From this humble origin, however, the fashion industry has since evolved into the high-speed, mass-produced global phenomenon that we now know today.

This retail space is being designed to not only challenge the status quo of fast-fashion, but to redefine the industry. The space strives to shift paradigms by engaging and educating users on the impact of their clothing. Great design facilitates sustainable lifestyle habits and Nuuly provides opportunities to solidify them. These elements combine to support an exciting evolution of personal style while continuing to be gentler on the planet
